He should end it. Enjoy his life, do whatever he likes in machinery that's worthy of him.
Neither Aston Martin nor Alpine will enable him to fight at the front anytime soon.
He's waiting for Max to take his seat.

Too many problems to be magically solved all at once with the B-spec car.

They postponed the b spec to late in august or september, Alonso said "more 5 races", De la Rosa said " nothing in this car until after summer break"

honestly, the situation is more dramatic and terrible than aany people expected, i think, even the spec-b for car and engine i think they'll just improve for fight with Cadillac and nothing more. They are so much late.

Alonso said yesterday its hopes of being ready by Spa rested on the upgraded engine from Honda. Because the package is now being delayed until after the summer break, Honda must not be ready.

Yep, that matches what the Honda"s big chief said in that article linked a few pages back.

"So current situation, we are waiting still FIA decision. But once we got the decision, we have the idea what we need to improve and we have the list what we need to do. But we are waiting FIA decision."
It's not an issue about being "ready" by the summer break per se, it's an issue about when they know they can start the actual ADUO development. Apparently, this hasn't commenced yet.

That was a very confusing part of the article. If development hasn't started yet, we can forget about anything until next year.
I hope they've been working on performance since they started physically building the original PU, before January 2026. Many things in the ICE get locked in once you start physically making parts. If they haven't been, forget it—we're lost. Maybe they're waiting for the FIA's approval to start manufacturing, but even that doesn't make sense.
I would expect that they're waiting on a date from the FIA that they can put the new ICE to use, in the mean time R&D continue to work feverishly on performance upgrades. Once they get that date, they will work backward from there to allow enough time to produce the new hardware. If there isn't enough time, the FIA date will turn into a Honda date, and pushed further into the future than the FIA date.

this whole freaking aduo thing is a joke. its one thing if WE dont know what the timeline is. its another thing altogether when the teams are still wondering when the fia will finally get off their asses and announce something. meanwhile supposedly ferrari already have updates to their engine ready. if honda are the only team that dont have upgrades ready, or well underway thats a whole nother problem.

Why is anyone surprised still? This has been the story they've been giving us every single race. Nothing will change for us or on the car at all until the second half of the season and the mechanical problems will be the same until then. They'll be nursing this gearbox until the end.

Even Alonso is saying it to the press at Barcelona now lol. "I said we'd still be at the back with the same problems, but people are still surprised when we are at the back".

Silverstone will be horrendous. The situation is the exact same.

Simple solution Ditch honda and go to mercedes as customer. bold calls have to be made. most incompetent manufacturer on planet is honda. they should be banned from sport. how can audi be better than them in their first year of sport. deabte should rest here
