2.5 second imprivement on a 75 second lap is 3.33% improvement. Project the same improvement at Silverstone, which was a 99 second lap, would translate to about 3.30 seconds. Plus, it's hard to factor in how much more aggressive the drives get if tgey feel more confident in the package.

yeah basically, any press member talking about this stuff is throwing random numbers at a wall to get people to read them. if the upgrade is 2 seconds at spa, it could be 3 at hungary (or vice versa), and either way, theyll finally be working on bringing updates at races to continuously make the car faster. just like all the other teams, before they commit to 27.

Where are the 2 or 2.5 seconds? I think that's given as qualifying performance. But considering the car's good starts and if the race pace is good, consistent points might be possible. So, they could start from 16th-17th and gain a few positions at the start. Will the race pace be at a level to keep position?
