If anyone was lucky with strategy it was Ferrari.PlatinumZealot wrote: ↑26 Jul 2026, 16:39Was RedBull lucky with that strategy or did they work the statistics there?
No chance that was happening. Team wouldn’t of thought of it, and Charles wouldn’t do itPlatinumZealot wrote: ↑26 Jul 2026, 16:39Anyway Charles should be instructed to give Lewis the 5 second gap if we are considering the potential championahip fight, but I bet they wont.

honestly the 3 grid penalty killed his race today. there was logic for the 3rd stop but only if he cleared kimi which he couldnt. P2 was very possible today but once again... bad luck and an unfortunate penalty. this is like 2008 all over again when the stewards were microscoping him. how come no penalty for sainz for causing an avoidable collision with piastri?![]()
I actually think Charles would have done it.DGP123 wrote: ↑26 Jul 2026, 16:45No chance that was happening. The last call on soft was totally unexpected and decision to not pit during VSC was brilliant too. I guess cooling condition may have helped to keep the tires alivePlatinumZealot wrote: ↑26 Jul 2026, 16:39Was RedBull lucky with that strategy or did they work the statistics there?
Alonso had already done a 33 lap stint on softs, so they had at least some indicationCHT wrote: ↑26 Jul 2026, 16:59The last call on soft was totally unexpected and decision to not pit during VSC was brilliant too. How so? To me it was a far better race than last week, and in Spa a driver I root for won.
I love it. Always look forward to it.
