At the very end of the session most teams were on track and most completed 8 laps a piece:

Fauzy has been running in the Lotus, not optimal. :)
If you check out the press release for the day, they blame the supplier for that problem. For some reason I doubt that it's the best approach between buy and suppliers.

BTW, why are so many posts in here just like chat room messages? If everyone wanted to see the comments and times from the live feed they would do so themselves IMO. I mean I sure as heck don't want to see the thread advance a page or two in one day purely because of simple posts that only have a comment that's not even theirs, or times from a particular moment.

If you want to compare times over a session in an appropriate way do so, but it's a PITA to just see a live feed comment or a small snip of times.

I would guess it is the f10 282 being towed in under a Red, and a veil of secrecy

Did they tow the car home? I don't think I've seen that before!

Intresting new way for the F10 to have some new aero development to corelate to CFD and the wind farm.

Yeah I believe so, but why they didn't use a tow truck is way beyond me. Extremely high tow rates? :?

Damn, Roost89 beat me to, with a good idea I might add. Or possibly they weren't too far from the pits and decided that it would be easier to tow it with a car instead of a full lift.

I personally can't wait until the Barcelona test so that we can see all the new parts. Hopefully the cars undergo signigficant changes.

It's right up there with the hammer to fix the car as they did a few seasons ago.

I agree that blindly copying a single line doesn't really help, and has a ring of fanboy about it.

However, the leaderboard doesn't tell you much and there are few reports on testing. That's why I tried posting an overview of what was happening. It also gives people a feel for how the day unfolded.

For example pointing out that Barichello did a full race simulation today, or noting where team spent a long time in the garage after stopping on track (Hamilton spent nearly the whole morning in the garage), and an overview of the final glory laps.

I hope that sort of posting is informative
