and I provided you with proof that what you said was false
JohnsonsEvilTwin wrote:Islamatron those stats are abysmal. Very convaluted and make no sense at all.
Besides did you actually see what i said? Monteiro is a better RACER.
He finished more and he finished ahead of his Team mate more often than not.

At one stage Takuma Sato was leading Button in quali's, it doesnt mean Jack.
Especially in those days of fuel corrected quali times.

If I was a team owner, I would have Monteiro, finished.
Nothing wrong with the "stats", which they are not(they are facts)... it is the pit stop summary from the races cleary showing that Narain almost always pitted after Tiego. Its not my fault if you cant read the table.

It is easy to be a better racer when you are slow and not pushing the limit, or are just incapable of doing so.

Is see facts & proper analysis dont mean anything to you so it is not worth my time to discuss this with you any further.

The dirty american food thing was a joke but I always forget people around here suffer from a total lack of any sense of humour.

his comments in Autosport about possibly points scoring in the later half of the season seems a bit naive....
One step after the other is a good start and he would do go to restrain himself from
impossible tasks ,at least on merit HRT has with the headstart of all others a step
mountain to climb and will inevitably remain last for quite a while.
So speaking of reducing the gap to virgin and lotus would have beeen a realistic aim
for their debut season and everything on top (not staying last)is really an achievement.

12-7 Islamatron

Stats mean nothing to me eh? You posted War and Peace to make an invalid point.
Was it to confuse the issue? Or paper over a weak argument?

Ouch!

That hurts.....NOT
I can read it all right, but I cant help thinking why you need it?
Yes he came in later(to pit), I was wrong. But you claimed he was the better driver which I disputed.
I wont tug your chain any longer ISLAMATRON, but 12-7 in favour of Monteiro is pretty compelling wouldnt you say?

Yes you were wrong, and if counting 12-7 on your fingers and toes is the extent of your analysis abilities i can see why it is difficult for you to read the table.

Did you not notice mechanical DNF's for NK every third race?

Oh dear,

Your surmising appears to have got the better of you. Does a DNF not count?
I see your spoiling for a lengthy and quite pointless argument.
The fact remains thus ISLAMATRON 12-7 to Thiago.

OR we could discuss Kimi Raikkonen who is a 2005 world champ(DNF's dont count right?)

Keep the BS coming.......

8 of 27 posts mention the title of the thread.. and 6 of those are about his 'manscaped' eyebrows!

the rest is an OT pissing comp

What's Karun's motorsport background - is he deserving of an F1 seat?

I am assuming he's heavily backed to land the seat.. who are his personal sponsors who have helped him grab the final HRT seat?

The tangent this thread has taken has all to do with a certain poster's insistance that Karthikayan was a better driver than Monteiro. Fair enough if that poster feels that way, but not when he starts spouting it as fact.

Measuring a driver is a very subjective exercize. But the universal method which all INFORMED people can accept is wether they can beat their team-mate in a race.
Thiago did that 12-7. No reams of pointless data that shows qualifying performances or pit stops or other stats TO CLOUD THE ISSUE.
JUST THE STAT THAT MATTERS. 12-7

And Islamatron, you point and prod like a politician when the facts are insurmountable. Having surveyed your responses to other posters, it appears that even though you are wrong, you will keep your line of attack to save face.
Reagrdless of whatever attack you think up next, 12-7 is FACT. SIMPLE FACT
