Its quite easy to set up a set of datasheets in Microsoft Excel or any other spreadsheet program once youve done one from scratch. Ive set up data sheets for 2005 to the current 2010 season.
As for source data, the FIA website has a F1 Media Centre, whitch is quite useful, also F1.com for archived data is also good. As for chassis data, each teams web page is generally good for this, altho i do have to get data from the moderators here who have media access for a couple of teams that i dont have access to.
Heres some threads to have a look at:
2006 & 2007 Engine & Driver Distance Data:

2008 Engine Usage Data:

As for my data for this season, im holding fire, keeping my powder dry. I peaked too early last year, and it got a bit heavy before the end of the season, well before it infact.
As for engines this year, Renault and Mercedes dont have much between them. Probably arround 4% is about all it is, whitch Renault are gonna make up with their upgrades. The least relyable is Ferarri with 3 blown to date from 14 between 3 teams. So far the engine average distance is 924.467 across all 50 engines active across all drivers.
