To me the radio incident was a PR disaster for a company like Mclaren and this is clearly a sign of the fustration building up in Lewis since Australia GP where Button won the race.
My guess is that Ron, through Martin, is going to have a big discussion with Lewis over this radio incident and Lewis being strong headed and without a manager, might not in the best position to make the right decision.
He has a personal relationship with his engineers, he can talk to them informally. You never said what the hell amongst your friends before?
What the hell was not even directed at the engineers, it was directed at the task ahead of him. He knows the engineers at the race can do nothing about the brake duct size or the fact that the brakes are overheating.
He was clearly frustrated at the situation and not the team.
The context is more like "what the hell i have to save brakes and race a faster ferrari at the same time!"
not like "it's a shame really", the team didn't setup my car properly, like what Button does most of the time.
