That is very condescending. I don't see the reason for him to play work horse for the team with a muzzle on. It's his job, he can drop his shoulders and let loose some time.donskar wrote:SPEED TV commentators made some good points, and were very negative toward Hamilton:mx_tifosi wrote: I understand it but I doubt that the team enjoys being told off in public, or that Hamilton be so vocal about his displeasure with the teams decisions.
1) That sort of exchange must take place behind closed doors. Once the garage door goes up, the team must present a united front. Hamilton is developing the reputation as an immature driver.
2) Every driver must be careful what info he reveals to the oppostion during a race.
IMHO opinion, Hamilton has great abilities: call him "The Boss" when he keeps his mouth shut and the car is OK. When things are not going well, he still does not have the maurity to deal with it. That is when I think of him as "The Loss." A great talent is being partially wasted because he has not reached full emotional maturity.
I've seen worse from other drivers on the grid. For example Alonso and Barichello. Never heard anyone telling Alonso to shut up and drive.
He is free to talk, he's the one driving the car and getting the feed back. He's going to be the one bringing home the bacon for the team as well.
His teammate never once yet battled with the 2 top teams this season. Button is languishing in 7th and 8th spot with no answer for the top teams. Calling the man the LOSS, sounds like envy. No way he is a loser after splitting redbulls at barcelona and outclassing the ferraris. Mclaren is blessed to have the BOSS, and i don't think they feel anyway if he gets a little informal with them.
Some of you make it sound like he owes them anything, or that he is passing his place. Calling him small boy and such low things.
He owes them nothing, and can easily leave for redbull or ferrari next year.
What the hell is soft compared to throwing a steering wheel, or not congratulating a teammate when he beats you.
