Button and Hamilton show Webber how you give your team mate space.

Yes, Webber! He should have let Vettel pass.

We must be watching a different race. He had made the pass. All he had to do was ride into the left hander. BIG BIG mistake by Vettel.

Everyone who mistakenly blames vettel, look how button has handled it. He left space for his faster teammate in the turn, instead of squeezing against him like a moron.

McLaren must have issued team order and Button is low on fuel.

Equal blame in my view, Webber maybe shouldn't have squeezed him so much - but he was leading at the time - Vettel certainly shouldn't have turned back into him though could have taken them both out of the race.

Good to see the McLaren boys fighting as well, would have been funny as hell if they took each other out as well ;)

Oh wow. I can see both sides of this story, but either way, they --- each other.

Webber could have given Vettel more room.
Vettel could have been a little more cautious with such a pass.

If it wasnt teammates, it would be a racing incident. Plain and simple. Vettel was clearly faster and i have seen Webber make some shitty moves to keep people behind him. That's why he is known as "the hardest person to pass"....

Cue Vettel to Ferrari replacing Massa.....

Judging by the reaction of the Red Bull engineers and Vettel after he came out of the car.. I suspect that was a surprise move. Gotta have some communication if you want to pull off that kinda shenanigans with a somewhat secure 1-2 race going.

Just unbelievable you'd take that much risk. Your goal is to score the most points for yourself and for your team. You F both up pretty good with that kind of maneuver.

And I'm sure people will go on with the normal BS "Oh it's F1!! They have to always fight for every point!" To which my argument is.. you do that with brains, and throwing all your points away for the race isn't very successful.

As for how McLaren handled things.. wasn't any better! They touched wheels FFS, no more than an inch away from collecting themselves JUST like Red Bull.

Both drivers shared some fault. Anyone who thinks otherwise is wearing Fanboy(tm) brand blinders.

Vettel's fault totally.

Vettel truly is the new Schumacher - drive in to the other guy if all else fails! (Although at least Schumacher was doing it to try to win a title at the last gasp not so early in the season.)

Just like the pitlane incident with Hamilton, Vettel tried to squeeze Webber even though he's not fully ahead.

I've heard of "Parisian (or Roman) parking" but never "German racing" which amounts to the same thing it seems.

Thing is Webber didn't squeeze him, he simply drove in a straight line giving Vettel just enough room but making it as likely as possible that he'd be able to go around the outside to get the inside line on the next corner. Vettel turned in to him to try and squeeze him wider and give himself a more beneficial line.

Vettel's error in my view - drivers don't need to roll out a red carpet when someone tries to overtake. They have a duty to give the other car room, which Webber did, but equally it's up to the overtaking car not to run into the other car. Vettel failed on that latter point.
