Maybe they got rid of the Chrome in favor of the budget caps! I bet it was not cheap painting that chrome paint.

I prefered the Chrome, but would love to know if McLaren will revert back to the white and red livery when they finally buy back Mercedes share in McLaren! I think the silver was only to accomodate Mercedes and the vodafone themse would work well with the red and white.

No, just that the Louvre would be more intelectually rewarding than some shed full of old McLarens. Can't really understand someone who wouldn't want to visit somewhere like that.

The red and white was a Malboro livery wasnt it? And they already bought back the Merc shares. I would think they would paint them orange if the main sponsor wasnt Vodaphone.

Not really, just a fancy shed full of old european paintings and stolen artifacts... I'd rather spend my time in Timbuktu or Egypt, Machu Pichu, Mecca, or ona Carribean Island

There is a world outside of your eurocentric one.

My Eurocentric one? WTF? I can think of only 2 countries in the world that I have no desire whatsoever to visit. Anyway, this shed full of old McLarens is inEurope. Welcome to the Eurocentric world!

This is F1 Technical, not Art lover. You must be the only guy on this site that doesn't wanna spend all day in that warehouse over a massive art house.

Waiting several hours in line to see the Mona Lisa(or a possibly replica of it) for 2 minutes and say hmmm... or spending that same amount of time uncoveringsome of the most beautifully designed and engineered cars ever raced... hard decision there huh

I've been twice. If you have no interest in art it aint worth it. Paris is awesome though.
It would take me hours to get the courage to step into the MP4/4. I'd just look at it in complete awe.

I feel so sorry for them cars, hidden away in some crappy shed. I Wish they had them on a display for all of us to go and see! I wonder how many cars Ron Dennis has in his home.

Depends on the lighting, it can still look plenty shiny:

They may have knocked it down a touch as a better base for sponsor lettering and logos, but not by much.

What can I say? I'm not a McLaren fan and would rather go somewhere that I might learn something rather than look at a bunch of cars that I have spent the past 20 odd years watch go round a track every other weekend.
