I apologize to the members immersed in this discussion for locking this thread again. Frankly, I can see I have been absent for too long (practically speaking).
My comment, as usual, is:
as if we were here to discern the best driver. There is a simpler way for engineers and it's called "Point Standings".
This is not the site to find the best driver or team, unless you contribute technical data.
You have other forums for those disputes, I can recommend a dozen, all good and with enough people devoted to moderate them. We prefer more tranquil issues, if I may confess: technical things, whose merits and qualities we can discern in a quicker and perhaps easier way. Show me a robot and I'll show you a simple soul...
I have a
special thread for that kind of posts, as a matter of fact. I created it not to ridicule anyone's post, but to make patent to our beloved forum the previous paragraph's idea.
From now on is my steely resolution to close, abort and nip in the bud, so to speak, each and every thread devoted to qualify drivers or teams, except for particular (and, hopefully juicy!) racing and/or extracurricular incidents that deserve your anger and argumentative abilities. This thread, definitely, does not.
The fact that (warning!! Editorial content follows) Michael Schumacher return is not commented by the press
speaks volumes about it to some of the mods of this site (25% of them, to be exact).
So, my advice is this: give it a rest. Apparently Mr. Schumacher will eventually do so: the very simple fact that
you could discuss for seven pages if he's superior to (how the powerful fall!) Nico Rosberg says it all, as anyone in the press corp (
or even Mr. Weber) can explain to you.
Gosh, guys... what part of the words "F1 Technical" you don't understand? If you miss either of them in this forum, your posts might become extremely boring to some (yeah, 25% again) of the mods of this site, I tell you.
