Anyways I read that the teams are receiving money from FOM for their positions in the constructor's championship....

How much is that??? any idea...
I have no idea, but commentators say that getting 10th would be "significant" for the smaller teams - which would suggest that you get a lot. Must be some million euros for 10th place, so 1st place should be HUGE

I remember those sort of figures being mentioned back in 2007 during the whole Spygate saga.
Favourite driver: Lando Norris
Favourite team: McLaren

Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

Team Name: Budget:

Vodafone McLaren Mercedes 220 Million Euros

Mercedes Grand Prix 185 Million Euros

Red Bull Racing 150 Million Euros

Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro 240 Million Euros

AT&T Williams 90 Million Euros

Renault F1 Team 105 Million Euros

Force India F1 Team 120 Million Euros

Scuderia Toro Rosso 105 Million Euros

Lotus F1 Racing 65 Million Euros

HRT F1 Team 40 Million Euros

BMW Sauber F1 Team 75 Million Euros

Virgin Racing 45 Million Euros

There you go... a modest budget considering the teams on the grid...
I'll ask this politely before someone else comes along and knocks you for this; where did you source the figures in your list from?

It's reasonable to assume it's eddited from here:

I started a new topic because I am interested in budget and employees of the 2010 Teams.

I heard this informations: (correct me if this information is incorrect).

Team Name: Employees: Budget:

Vodafone McLaren Mercedes - 850 - 220 Million Euros

Mercedes Grand Prix - 600 (450 - Brackley & 150 - Stuttgart) - 185 Million Euros

Red Bull Racing - 550 - 150 Million Euros

Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro - 900 - 240 Million Euros

AT&T Williams - 500 - 90 Million Euros

Renault F1 Team - 494 - 105 Million Euros

Force India F1 Team - 280 - 80 Million Euros

Scuderia Toro Rosso - 257 - 105 Million Euros

Lotus F1 Racing - 260 - 65 Million Euros

HRT F1 Team - unknown - 40 Million Euros

BMW Sauber F1 Team - 260 - 75 Million Euros

Virgin Racing - unknown - 45 Million Euro
(I agree with a few who replied the Renault looks low.)

Also note how FI has -rather strangely- changed from 80 in the original up to 120 EU in the Mach11 version

Hmmm rather whiffy or what.......

Come on Mach11 fezz up :wtf:

...

:D :D :D

I knew it was a source that someone would eventually look into... but the 80 million to 120 million i can explanin....

When VJ took over the Spyker team he increased their budjet to 120 million already... so that is why I edited it as i thought it was wrong...

And like i said... i do not know how accurate these values are...

Do you have any idea on that???

Bit naughty just to edit one figure just because you thought it was too low..

The 120 is US dollars not Euro's..Although that was 2 years ago and I doubt they manage to secure that this season. I believe the figure quoted at 80m EU is about right..(my understanding was around 50m UK pounds)

However that was the budget. Sadly it doesn't reflect the reality as a lot of companies pledge to pay $xyz sponsorship towards the next season but delay payment or worse don't actually stump up the cash. Hence they are always scrabbling to pay invoices when the money promised doesn't arrive.. However the staff have never not been paid on time which is a good thing..

Oh and the drop of 6th to 7th cost 5m which hasn't helped none...

If Liuzzi is not a pay driver, I bet they'll rid of him.

My money is on Liuzzi being shown the door. He hasn't shone too brightly and Sutil is Force India through and through.
