Of course, because you know Alonso and Massa personally?
What really gave me a few doubts was that Alonso couldnt pass Massa in Hockenheim et all, we all know that Massa cannot defend at all(in 2008 he left the door wide open for Hamilton as an title contender), that just put high doubts at Alonso's real skill. Afterall, he always was the first driver and his results where matched by the rookie Hamilton in 2007.
Massa defended really well and very aggresively against Alonso at Hockenheim.

Nice to see that you base your opinions on Alonso's "real skill" on one race this season, rather than 150 or so grands prix he's raced in.

He got matched by Hamilton , but there's no shame in that. Hamilton is possibly the most talented driver on the grid.

True, but the Mclarens surely were much more RELIABLE and equally FAST than the RBRs in 2010, so that evens it out.
Mclarens and Ferrari's in 2007 were much more evenly matched. In 2010, the Red Bull was the best car by a significant margin.
The 2010 RBR is much like the 2005 Mclaren (both created by the same designer)
Both incredible fast than the other cars, but Equally Unreliable!!
See the difference? What made the 2007 Mclaren the better car was its reliability that season compared to Ferrari 2007.

Wrong Lewis beat Alonso in 2007 :)

So a 2x WDC losing to a rookie is humbling to his fans
So what they do
a) admit Alonso wasn't as good as they thought he was
or
b) raise their estimations of how good ROOKIE Lewis was ( blaming Ron and the simulator etc )

MP4 - 20 was much much more unreliable than the RB6.

Yes it's not like Massa moved over for Kimi at Interlagos.
It was the last race and Massa was out of the WDC hunt and what do u expect?
its not like what happened at Hockenheim 2010.

and at turkey 2007 they allowed Massa to win the race even when Kimi had the best chance to win the WDC at that point.

Of course he beat Massa by alot. Alono's success came mainly from the second half of the season - after the team orders fiasco. Massa knew where he was within the team then.

You have certain press messages where he is always talking some sort of rubbish, blaming anything on something else. Never saw Massa doing anything like Alonso did to Petrov, not does he complain about any other driver.

He got matched by a rookie yes, an guy that has never driven an F1 race before and the double world champion gets matched by him.

Alonso is described as a great racer, though i cannot remember any overtake from him, only crashing on the most stupid moments you can think of, and having fueds with his teammates.

Yeah. what a sportsman fernando alonso. He was angry because Petrov was having his own race. He though that he would do the same as Massa.

Remember Massa's dignity when he lost the champ at 2008 ! He was great. What an ethos by the brazilean boy

We locked the previous bashing threads so I don't see a reason as to why this one should stay open.
