I hope they give them the benefit of the doubt on this occasion. We've seen cars finish before that wouldn't pass scrutineering with bits of car hanging off, broken exhausts, etc. It's obviously not helping McLaren's pace so there are extenuating circumstances.

By way of example, Button is a second a lap quicker than Hamilton at the moment whereas we know that Hamilton has been about half a second a lap quicker all weekend. So the car damage is costing him 1 - 1.5 seconds a lap.

Ps. Yup, go Perez! 1 stop strategy with great pace!! Beating Kobayashi.

Perez 7th in maiden GP! I wish I could be in Mexico to make it even more special.

Alonso a lap or two from a podium, with Massa floundering as usual.

And congrats to Petrov, he has showed the team who the leader really is. Well done, it's nice to see three different teams on the podium.

No KERS at all on the RB7. That'll surprise and worry the other teams...
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.
