So, unless I'm missing something at the regulations. You still have to use 4 options at the same time, 4 primes at the same time. But then you could use a mixed combination. Rules say that you change tyres, not set of tyres.
The thing is, the rules don't state that you must put a set on as one. If they don't say that then I don't see where they ban putting hards and softs on in combination. If they do say that, then this bans putting half of one set of softs, and half of another on.
