I can't believe we were only shown 1-2 overtakes by Heidfeld, who moved from 24th to 8th

Oh and Mercedes not allowing Rosberg past Schumacher earlier in the race almost cost them 6th & 7th to the charging Heidfeld at the end. 1-2 laps more was needed!

Nick must've had a great race.

Great race!

Those who denounce the idea of "race pace" should look at this race. The Red Bull is best part of 1s faster in qualifying but in thye race there was nothing in it between them and McLaren. Indeed, it's possible that Hamilton might have been able to go quicker than Vettel had he got by him. Great drives by both of them.

Excellent drive by Button after a rubbish start. Webber looked very average today. Alonso was on fire intially but ran out of pace/tyres.

The Mercedes drivers did well, Massa was slow all weekend - a sad shadow of the driver who was so close to the title in 2008. Heidfeld did very well coming up from the back.

Good drives from Perez and diResta.

Some of the back markers were exc ellent getting out of the way, some not so good, sadly.

Yep, good job well done. Great job by hamilton and button too – button was extending his lead over webber even on older tyres.

Agreed, some of the cut aways during critical moments is getting frustrating. Happened in other races too.

Annoying.

What was wrong with it? Showed the racing at the front and the midfield action and I could follow the race quite easily.

They were talking about modifying the circuit next year if people couldn't pass. I would hope, based on no one being able to get past fred at the start, and the boss not being able to get by at the end, that they'll tighten up turn 1 and/or turn 16.

Alonso 3.5 seconds off the pace towards the end. Wow.

What a race! Another exciting one added to the list. If this continues, then 2011 can easily top many previous seasons.

Vettel definitely deserved the driver of the day. Obviously he worked hard to get the win from the great start to the efficient overtaking after 1st stop to defending Lewis with a inferior car (Redbull car seems slower with hard tyres).

As usual, Martin Brundle wants to stir up some controversy by insisting that Lewis is the Driver of the day. Even Coulthard question his logic.

I really felt that Vettel is being pushed hard to earn his points.

Was pretty much purely down to the very early first stops. Meant his hards at the end were wrecked.

Yeah, but Brundle is a fool, or if you like, an on air troll. I take no notice of him.

I think his suggestion was that the RBR was actually the faster car and HAM was driving better... I disagree, as do pretty much everyone here it appears. Vettel for driver of the day definitely.
