Completely ignoring that another car has pulled alongside him along the straight before the corner.

The Schumacher/Hamilton move which was identical to the Maldonado incident. The difference is that Schumacher chose to stay in the race, Maldonado chose to crash out.

Same again for Hamilton and Schumacher's moves at the hairpin, nearly identical, except Rosberg chose to stay in the race, Massa chose to crash out.

Reposting this since we have arm chair driver

I guess he could just press the brakes harder? The only option Lewis had once Maldonado decided to 'close the door' was to cut the corner, which he did to some extent.
Armchair driver? I would point out that you know nothing about me so don’t make wild guesses about people. Secondly, I don’t have an armchair.

There is no backing out? Wrong. Seen plenty of drivers give up on a move and try again later. No matter how you dress it up, it boils down to the same thing. Hamilton screwed up.

He could have cut the corner as this would have been infinitely more sensible but there is no point looking at ifs buts or what could have been.
You never read my post. Please explain the options Lewis could have 'backed out'? The only real option I could see, was cutting the corner completely (taking the escape road), but I would question whether he would have had the grip to do this.

Ps- I would also like to point out you know nothing about me, and how irrelevant this is to this topic.

And this view is clearly reinforced by the video showing Hamilton *trying* to back out – he's hard on the brakes, going slower than Mandy, and he's turning to cut the corner. The fact that Mandy still hit him shows just how much Mandy was giving exactly 0 room.

No he did not!

Hamilton drove into Maldonado and completely altered Maldo's line through the corner.
Heh, will I guess it's clear you opinion is clouded by some clear resentment towards Hamilton, crazy assessment of the situation.

I'm out, I've said my piece here.

It's funny how Hamilton has already accepted he just had a bad weekend and moved on, but the fans here keep on bickering about the ordeal.

Hamilton is a grrreat driver. He had a seriously shite race. He was justly penalized. And he was understandably frustrated. That is all there is to it. Move on.

Doesn´t change the fact that most drivers were appalled of some of his overtake moves. Which wasn´t really overtaking moves.

Not in my mind he ain't. I am most definately not a fan of Senna but Hamilton is not a patch on him so please don't make this comparision.

Yes, that's right. Applaud someone for opening their mouth, letting their belly rumble and then engaging thier brain.

There is a time and place to say something and their is a time and place for holding your tongue.
