That would be way better. There would be no hate, there would be no crazy love hamilton thing either.
We would all have a computer at hand to look up some "proof" to back our argument and when it´s set and done we would talk about something else.
The truth will come out...

It was not as good as the Montoya/Gordon swap but that was mostly down to the weather.
Good fun...couldn't wipe the smile off either of them.
Smoke was as to be expected impressed with the brakes..I don't think he pushed the McLaren as hard as Juan did,but I think with the damp track, he was aware of how easy it would be to screw up.
For his part Louie was suprised at how well the Sprint Cup car handled.

I can understand why Tony took care of the McLaren, it's a very special piece of kit, it was the car that carried Lewis to his title.
Racing should be decided on the track, not the court room.

This fact actually made me have a random thought... Isn't it normal for drivers' contracts to contain a clause saying that if they win the WDC, they get paid a bonus by the team... the car.

I guess LH didn't have this in the contract, do we know, did he get one of the chassis for it?

McLaren drivers don't even get to keep their trophies.

It was the pure joy of the sport, the blissful enjoyment of watching racing. Just watching the racing, the brave young people showing off and having fun.

Back when I practically had my mailing address as the nearest race track, the numerous friends I acquired at the tracks all had a deep love of motorsport, and it showed. Times have changed, and for whatever reason I have been exposed to just too much hatred and anger, just a lot of negative emotions I hoped wasn't part of motorsport.

Maybe that crap isn't really manifested at the tracks, maybe it's just a result of the internet.

I don't know, but I'd rather go back to my roots, and hang around some small track and watch kids kart rather than spectate a Grand Prix and be exposed to people who somehow forgot the joy of motor racing and would rather argue and defend in the most obnoxious manner their favorite driver.

Just a few days ago I witnessed one of the most amazing races I have ever experienced, one that definitely will be talked about and remembered for a very long time. It was also the career-defining drive for Jenson Button, what he accomplished was truly amazing and great. Yet in the last few days all I have experienced and witnessed was hatred and anger and the almost complete lack of enjoyment and happiness, of the joy of racing.

I'm sure glad this television show aired when it did, to remind me of what's really important, and what's not.
Agreed. The politics and fanboyism gets to be a bit much at times. Well... a lot of times. Montreal was a great race. And we still have twelve more races to see if it can get any better than that... woohoo!

I would love to see Lewis in a dirt car.

same or more power than an f1 car I think they might be lighter too no gear box just a go and stop pedal.

410 cubic engine, over 800 HP, and ..... weight minimum 1375 pounds. Oh yea, that big wing is moveable, controlled by the driver.

USAC has a series where similar, but wingless cars race. Tony owned that when he was racing there, accomplishing the unrivalled feat of winning all three divisions in the same year. Tony has won USAC, IRL, and the NASCAR titles.
