the car he was responsible for won both Drivers and Constructors but when it happened he was not credited for it as he had left the operation already .

Guy Negre who had a w12 engine in the making for AGS with a fancy roller valve arrangement...sadly they had no funds to speak of to develop the thing and if i´m correct they had a single in car private test with it.
Negre builds compressed air propulsion systems and complete vehicles todays ...

He developed a revolutionary 12 cylinder W (yes, a double V) with a revolving valve system which was premiered at the FPI (French Petroleum Institute). Despite the success of his inventions, sufficient investment capital was not forthcoming.'

I´d rather think his air storage systems have to do something with it..maybe the pneumatic valvespring reservoir ?
