two obvious connections there:

Gordon Murrey is the head behind this.

The site where the car is build is the former B3 technologies building formerly owned by John Barnard and build for Ferrari and his second period with the Maranello team.

I have one to follow up on this:

Who is the other former F1 technical director/engineer involved in a similar e-mobility project?

little help:

the car he was responsible for won both Drivers and Constructors but when it happened he was not credited for it as he had left the operation already .

for the old farts a bonus question :

who , with a short but unsuccessful involvement in F1, did invent design and build very unusual means of propulsion and transportation long before Murrey ?

the bonus question:
http://www.mdi.lu/

Guy Negre who had a w12 engine in the making for AGS with a fancy roller valve arrangement...sadly they had no funds to speak of to develop the thing and if i´m correct they had a single in car private test with it.
Negre builds compressed air propulsion systems and complete vehicles todays ...Image

wanted to get this thread going again, so apologies for the googling.

'During the 1980s he worked in aeronautics and then moved onto Formula 1 racing cars. He developed a revolutionary 12 cylinder W (yes, a double V) with a revolving valve system which was premiered at the FPI (French Petroleum Institute). Despite the success of his inventions, sufficient investment capital was not forthcoming.'

Revolving valve system? not alot on the net!

I´d rather think his air storage systems have to do something with it..maybe the pneumatic valvespring reservoir ?

Actually, it might be the entire pneumatic valve system, though the patent must have xpired by now?

In order to get the thread going on.
He had the patent on the pneumatic starters.

If nobody mind I would propose a new one.
What reaction from the engineer came after the first test run of Schumi for Jordan?
