Hamilton wanted to bully PM, and PM wanted to just swipe his front wing off; of course he had no way of knowing Hamilton was planning to bully him, so there was a much bigger impact than he had anticipated. Reprimand for LH seems right, but PM's actions definitely deserved more than a 5 place grid drop.
About Senna. From his Gp2 days, people following him closely knew he was special. Winning in Silverstone in soaking wet conditions by a mile, and then repeating the same performance at spa (at least until his race was ruined for a pit lane infringement) plus his flawless victory in Monaco were all signs he was no ordinary racing driver. He did what he had to do today. Tomorrow he must not thrash the car and pick up some points.

Okay now we have a good quality video about the collision between LH and PM. From the TV camera at 2:58 Lewis makes a move towards PM but I think just sees him in the mirror and straightens the wheel. After that, if you watch from the onboard camera 3:20 onwards it's quite clear LH is holding the wheel pretty much straight and even makes a gesture with his hand probably saying "come on get past already". PM does the rest of the job. Based on this footage, we can only blame LH for his twitch towards PM at 2:58. That's hardly a reprimand don't you think ? But PM's swipe across the track towards LH in my books deserves more than a 5 place grid drop, deliberately or not.
