Its not that simple though, cos the guy defending will end up loosing speed out of the corner (I race karts) and having to basically give up the place on the next straight/ corner, which is ridiculous, so basically kiss goodbye to battles, and kiss goodbye to quality defending, this is another gimmic which will allow the following person to breeze past very quickly, not what racing is about...
