I doubt the snow plough is coming back, though I could be wrong.

Actually I half expect to see the old nose and snow plough back on Jenson's car for Monaco.

He's struggling with car setup at the moment and I think he might want to get the extra front grip to give him the confidence for that 1 track in particular...
Favourite driver: Lando Norris
Favourite team: McLaren

Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

But the snowplough came off in testing. Maybe they might go to the old nose+vanes, but just not the new nose+vanes.

Rear grip is still important in Monaco, especially for tyre life. I doubt we'll see the snowplough again unless they find some way of significantly increasing the aero load of the rear wing or diffusor without losing efficiency.

I think he will be ok at Monaco, he's struggling to get heat into the tyres, soft tyres and plenty of braking should help.
Became a McLaren fan in the late 70's when I ended up laminating their Kevlar nosecones.

Good look at part of McLaren's innovative tyre heating solution.

I find it interesting that out of all the successful teams so far, McLaren seem to have the least "going on" at the rear of their car in terms of slots, bits and bobs on the floor, hidden ducts and the like.

I don't see anything indicating 'adjustable'.

Based on other angles, the adjuster is inside directed towards the brake duct. It's horizontal and has a spring mechanism IIRC.

Here it is:

Wish we could know how flat the surface is, that RB FW looks like it's about to spark on the right whereas the McLaren could run over a small mammal fairly safely.

Edit: To be fair, Vettel is out-braking so will show more dive.

Is it just me or does Jenson have a whole lot more rear wing angle compared to the red bull?

My bet would be that that's more to do with the Red Bull over-compromising top speed if it puts a decent amount of wing on, than to do with the McLaren needing more wing.

red bull is known for making cars (last 2-3 car's generation) with their low top speed, with less rear wing angle they wont higher top speed. i think mclaren already have good top speed, and because of that they can be faster even with more wing.
