Not really, Ferrari has big bulges but is a smaller width diffuser which may mean they have separation issues and RBR just has little notches near the strakes like last season.

I said they had a new diffuser but my tired eyes are struggling to find a difference other than the lack of gurney tab on the edges. Please don't tell me that just cut some off like MGP "new" front wing that just dropped the cascade  .

they were only on rear wheels. fronts were previous race version due to "risk"

During JB's last stint in Q1 you could tell the colouring of his front Brake Ducts were different, I have struggled to find a decent pic let alone a high Res one but here is a screen grab I took from the BBC coverage:

Should explain why he was so quick in the last lap he had to abandon as he was putting the front tyre through a higher temp heat cycle

these are duct tape strips closing off the brake ducts .
Button said on german tv he was unable to switch on the front tyres in his first run but it was all different in the second but the yellows due to Glocks off in the last corner and of course the hevy rain in sector 3 ruined his effort.

Maybe they should develope a bit faster. Hamilton was at start over 1sec slower than Alonso on the same tyres

Two races in a row they've used both drivers to set up both cars, two races in a row they've had no pace. Lewis should go back to collecting his own data and setting his own car up.

These upgrades can't come quick enough now though, they started with the best car and now the Ferraris, Red Bulls, and Lotuses are all clearly quicker than them and Mercedes and Williams are having races where they are quicker as well. I wonder if this is all symptomatic of the RRA kicking in, or are they expecting truly spectacular things from this upgrade?

Whitmarsh stated somewhere that they have visually noticeable upgrades for Germany. Anyone knows what they may be?

Surely Lewis won't sacrifice his own set-up just to help out Jenson. It's pretty obvious to me that the car has just fallen behind in the development race. I really do hope the "big" upgrade at Hockenheim works as expected or I think they will fall too far behind in the championship.
The disappointing thing today is that they seemed to have no pace at any stage in the grand prix, and the middle stint on the options was dreadful. It's quite clearly the 4th fastest car at best at the minute.
I'd be surprised if the RRA is having a major effect at this stage, plus to my knowledge it's hardly water tight anyway.

It's not sacrificing setup to help the other driver - what McLaren have been doing is getting each driver to test one set of things and then use the other drivers data to work out what to do. The theory being that they can cover twice the ground. The reality seems to be that the two driver's are unable to use each others data to accurately set up the car. Jenson's pace hasn't improved, and now Lewis appears to have setup issues in each of the two races they've done this.

Given the condensed practice sessions they didn't have much choice in Silverstone, but it was their plan from the start in Valencia and again Hamilton had awful race pace compared to his peers and had been unhappy all weekend.

I don't think its so much the upgrades, although there certainly doesn't appear to of been many, the car is flawed, it just took the others longer to figure out the problems but now they have you see the pace, sure there will be the odd race like like canada where they'll be very competitive but not consistently like RBR for example.
