more evidence, they cannot optimise their performance on a hot track.
They're going to suffer at some of the upcoming tracks
Their first stint was bad -_-. They could've challenged for the race win/podium, both drivers had the pace.clipsy1H wrote:tires problems forced them to do 2 stops today....... with 1 stop Micheal can finish in top4 like Perez.....
Dude, only their first stint was bad. The rest was excellent.Mestrades wrote:Another frustration race. The car is a focker sht! And they will do 2 stop strategy. Totally pathetic!
Exactly, some people need to sit back and read the entire race.Morteza wrote:The race didn't finish as bad as I thought. Considering their 2 stop strategy, it was good, actually. Now let's see what are the big updates for Singapore.
This is NOT the problem, they couldn't get the tyres to work in the first stint. This is what cost them. If they had better pace in first stint, they would've fought with Perez/Alonso/Massa.Raptor22 wrote:hot weather high fuel load = high tyre wear
I doubt very much weather these people have the capacity to sit down and concentrate for that long. In fact, it amuses me that they can still post.zyphro wrote:Exactly, some people need to sit back and read the entire race.
This was in fact the problem. If the car dis not heat its tyres as much, they could have adjusted it to make them last longer without sacrificing pace. They can't hence the 2 stop strategy. The car was also not so good in qualifying on a track that should have seen them competing for pole.zyphro wrote:This is NOT the problem, they couldn't get the tyres to work in the first stint. We're still waiting on the explanation for the poor first stint; don't jump to conclusions. Schumacher was seen weaving on the pit straight throughout the 1st stint - why would he do that? Lack of temperature/tyre pressure, if so his tyres were probably graining.Raptor22 wrote:This was in fact the problem. Did you manage to see him xpensive?xpensive wrote:I can see DiResta on the podium tomorrow.
I disagree. Competing for pole? Mercedes could have bagged the pole and would have finished outside the points.Raptor22 wrote:The car was also not so good in qualifying on a track that should have seen them competing for pole.
