McLaren doesn't need a old guy who ruin races. They need someone young and hungry for victories. (Di Resta)Adamski wrote:It is definitely better suited in the silly season topic but it has a big affect on the team's driver line-up in next year:

So it looks like Schumacher again needs to retire because of his team doesn't want him. What a real drama it would be.
Schumi you don't have to wait and see that a little silly boy make a decision about your future. If Hamilton thinks he need to go than Michael you have to go to McLaren! That would be a very-very interesting 2013 season.

How do you interpret that the team does not want him?Adamski wrote:So it looks like Schumacher again needs to retire because of his team doesn't want him. What a real drama it would be.
Schumacher is still very much part of Mercedes plans. He brings good performances and attracts sponsors which contribute to the pushing the team forward.Brawn said: "It's still under discussion, I'm afraid. I can't comment very much on that, but Michael's been a huge asset to the team, he's really taken us forward."I do think Michael contributes an awful lot, so I think the decision for Michael to stay or not continue is a difficult one. Obviously he's very involved in that decision, and discussions are ongoing at the moment
I agree with this statement. I think Mercedes never thought Schumi would have so much patience.snoop1050 wrote:I think its time to leave when you have more technical DNF's in half a season than your teammate has had in 3 years.
Only a horses head placed in your bed gives a more subtle message.
Instead of making NONSENSICAL claims, back up these stupid comments with facts you moron. It's becoming very tiresome to read. Are you sure you're not a troll, you seem to be far from a realistic MSC fan. "ruin"clipsy1H wrote: McLaren doesn't need a old guy who ruin races.
I fail to see a case that allows MGP to have a reason to kick him out - they ruined his season, by not being able to provide a reliable car.FoxHound wrote:How do you interpret that the team does not want him?Adamski wrote:So it looks like Schumacher again needs to retire because of his team doesn't want him. I fail to see how, where, and why Mercedes AMG have said they do not want him, or have even intimated as much.

without a big name driver mercedes are just another mid field team that cant be very attractive to sponsors or seen as a good investment by the daimler shareholders.
+1 there's no reason for merc to kick michael out just beacuse of the result in singapore, you can count hungary as another mistake. But where was rosberg the last 3-4 races when the car was terrible? Michael was qualifying in the top 3 in the wet and scoring points for the team. Michael's patience in the team is unparalleled. I cant see him saying its hard for him to maintain motivation for such a team with very little progress like rossi said in ducati. Schumi deserves to race next year.zyphro wrote:I fail to see a case that allows MGP to have a reason to kick him out - they ruined his season, by not being able to provide a reliable car.FoxHound wrote:How do you interpret that the team does not want him?Adamski wrote:So it looks like Schumacher again needs to retire because of his team doesn't want him.
