i just feel sorry for Massa, he did great yesterday
Their a team they have to do whatever in the rules to win.siskue2005 wrote:disgraceful if they do it

If the rumors are to be believed then they'll be removing 5 spots from massa, and giving 5 to alonso (1 due to the instant gain, 4 due to not losing places to clean side starters)... A net 0, but giving a team member a better chance at the WDC. I can see why they'd do it certainly.Jersey Tom wrote:Pretty sure Ferrari wouldn't pull that move intentionally. "Clean" side or not, that's a lot of grid spots to throw away. If they really wanted to shuffle the end result they could have done it by doing stuff differently in qualifying, or pit strategy in the race, or whatever.
It is all about ALO and grid side seems to be crucial. He gains one very valuable position (and maybe more). Of course it is intentionally and kind of unsportsmanlike but they have to do it and it is funny and and smart so I accept this.Jersey Tom wrote:Pretty sure Ferrari wouldn't pull that move intentionally. Not that I think any part of the track has a particularly high amount of grip anyway.
I'll pass on the conspiracy theories.
Kind of agree, as Luca said recently (below), no more excuses! Loss of WDC and Stephen Sundays principal role right there!stefan_ wrote:At the moment is just a rumour. If they do that, they are really scraping the bottom of the s**t barrel.
Pretty soon Alonso will be on pole!RB_[Gnx] wrote:What If Red Bull changes Webber's Gearbox
That will be an epic TROLL xD
Jersey Tom wrote:I see it as removing 5 from Massa and giving 1 to Alonso. Speculating that because you start on the other side of the grid you'll pick up 4 spots is a stretch IMO.
Rumors are just that. I think the most likely scenario is they had to change a gearbox.. so they did. And that's that. That it happened to play out beneficially for Alonso I think is coincidence.
But of course it's more entertaining to jump to conclusions of unsportsmanlike conduct / conspiracy / manipulation, blah blah blah.
