As expected, rain is progressing towards the circuit, and should arrive in approximate an hour. So chances on a dry Quali seem small. Doesn't look like heavy showers though. It would be interesting to see who is willing to burn the intermediates in a light drizzle.

Fastest in every single dry Q3 session this year, don't worry.

Still they have been consistently 2nd in the wet so I can't see them struggling.

What came of Raikkonen's rear wing during DRS activation on the start-finish straight?

With regards to Mercedes struggling - they were nearly 6 tenths off the pace in Practice 3 at Germany and Hungary so I think there's no need for concern. They clearly run more fuel in practice 3 than most. Also, Ham was 2 tenths up on Kimi on primes before he spun. So he would have matched Vettel on primes - shows the pace is there.

Mark Hughes has also stated that yesterday and will likely be the same this morning, they were running their engines in a very conservative mode to try to preserve them. They'll likely turn up the notch in Quali and be up there with the Bulls.

Whilst all true, it didn't look like Hamilton's car (at least) was balanced. I do wonder if the FRIC system isn't giving them their usual advantage as when they're on a bumpier track.

Also now its wet they've previously shown a tendency to drop back ever so slightly. Hope I'm wrong and they can take the fight to Red Bull but they're going to have to pull something out the bag this weekend.

Perfect example of how being on the track at the right moment makes all of the difference in mixed conditions. Rosberg looked quick all of Qualifying and then at the last moment he ended up 1s+ behind pole in P4. Mad qualifying session.

What a weird Q3, would have loved to see Paul on pole. Hamilton fanboys are wet as we speak and it's not from the rain.
