Between whom? Ricciardo is clearly best of the rest.

How has the overtaking been so far in Barcelona? Since DRS rather well, right? Still I wonder, what will happen if lets say Redbull gets ahead of a Mercedes at the start. Will the Mercedes get past as easily, like in China with the long straights? Especially if the Redbull is as strong in the corners, I think getting past under DRS might not be as easy as it seems?
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

The old 'electronics' excuse :D with a team like RedBull is it possible for them not to find the fault given how long they had?

You can't count out Alonso, especially in race day and in front of his crowd.

Fastest lap of the day - Seb's RB10 on the back of a lorry.

Mercedes still being as cozy in front isn't to the liking of Ricciardo:

To be honest, nothing we didn't expect. Mercedes has improved as well, so the same gap remains.

Shall we expect another easy Mercedes one-two race win?

Sadly, yes.

I mean, I'm a Mercedes fan, and they deserve their succes, but this is getting boring. It's going to add to the most dominated season by one team.

They even don't have any weaknesses: along red bull they have the most downforce, they have the best engine, they have the best reliability (although it's always being careful when saying that in orde to not jynx it), their tyre wear is absolutely the best, and they still have room to improve. 2 seasons ago they were horrible in developing their car throughout the season, but even that is gone.

It'll be all silver on the top spot all season long I'm afraid :( .

Mercedes vs RB - I'd say not similar speed and rather easy, if not DRS + top speed - on pace/tyres.
Generally overtaking cars with similar speed even with DRS - not easy.
Perez complaining about tyres, http://www.crash.net/f1/news/204222/1/p ... -pace.html
“With the compounds that Pirelli brought here they are too conservative. You are sliding around. So when you are following a car it is very difficult. So I think on Sunday due to the compounds that Pirelli brought we are going to have a very boring race.”

Mercedes is now showing the super team it transformed into through Ross Brawn management over the last few years. They are the new Red Bull.

Not looking too bad for Ricciardo vs. Rosberg: http://en.mclarenf-1.com/index.php?page ... 1=12&l2=14

But I think Rosberg will adopt towards Hamiltons setup and go for an easy P2... Hamilton is in it's own league.

Well, as boring as some of you may find the Merc dominance, it is still a welcome change after four seasons of Vettel/RBR.

With Merc dominating, at least we have a chance to see a fight for WDC.
