mmm i think it's a sensor and it is in both photo: it is on the right in the first and on the left in the second :wink:
Ah yes, now I see it (the bodywork in the right picture seemed to emerge into the background bodywork, hence why I missed it). Good job pointing it out! Though the green box in your picture could also be part of the sensor.

The engine cover does look very extreme, given the temperatures in Singapore.
