Lotus E23 Mercedes Speculation Thread

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter does not belong here.

That Lotus steering wheel with the PCU10 looks like one of the nicest out there. Not huge like the STR, not a cluster of knobs and buttons like Ferrari. Its as nice as the Mercrdes and McLaren ones, i liked the Marussia one as well.

Petronas products for the engine/PU and Total/elf products for the rest, according to Chester.

offcourse not. It's not officially revealed and any reveal will not come like this.

it's an older model, with the lotus livery. Looks like a version back when it was still Renault (with Kubica).

I like it the most so far. It looks like a totally different DNA to the e22. Neat and tidy!

whoa out of the blue!

hmmm interesting. Almost looks like it's not a F1-car but some other GP formula.

Interesting roll hoop intakes.

The thing that concerns me the most is the lack of sponsors, which can affect the development of the car throughout the season.

Is it me or are the endplates on the frontwing not connected with the 3-layered flaps? Like there's a gap. Is this new?
