Gotta say, Lewis made no effort to turn the car at the start. Obviously it's different with cars, but I thought it was quite similar to the Rossi move.

Anyway, fair play, definitely the fastest driver/car package this year, so fully deserving of the title.

Vettel's pace at the end was pretty reasonable at the end; nico's tyres were old and Lewis stopped pushing but still think they were a bit closer than usual.

Hamilton was gainingon him, putting him underpressure.... That is what caused the error IMO. That's what Lauda thought too post race RTL interview...
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

So, it is possible that the cause is the car, not driver error? If that is the case, Rosberg just did not have the luck in the end of the race.

Hamilton deserves the title, but man, it must suck to be ROS right now.
I know, it almost hurts to look at him. Even on the podium. He'll come back stronger next year, he'll have to because so will the other teams.

What a race! Hamilton deserved this title, congratulation!

On italian television (RAI) Ivan Capelli said that when Rosberg did the mistake he shifted and went from 2nd to 4th gear and it could have been a technical problem. He said two times, also while looking at the replay, but I can't confirm if it's true or not.

I was surprised by Vettel's pace at the end, were Rosberg's tyre much older?

Wow, what a race! Great drive from Hamilton in tricky conditions, and a well deserved WDC. Great drive from Vettel too, he was looking very threatening throughout the whole race, and he started so far back!

I don't buy in to the whole "Hamilton was lucky with the SC" argument, you could argue Rosberg was equally as lucky with the one before etc. and Vettel was lucky with the one before that. Rosberg had track position, and had the opportunity to make life difficult for Hamilton, he had nothing to lose. But, he made a big error and handed it over without a fight, which was a shame.

Hamilton deserves to win this year championship, but it is unfair for Rosberg not to win at least a race, in the last few races.

3 racing laps plus 3 with SC I think.

As far as tyre performance, presumably there was a lot of variation simply because of the unknowns - the track would have evolved fast through the race as the track dried and the rubber went down. Given that the setups would have been pretty 'raw', I'd assume there was a lot of balance tweaking in pitstops with tyre pressures. Sometimes you'll strike it lucky, others you'll have to drive around it. Presumably that's why Lewis was slow at the start of the race, and Nico was slow at the end.

Congrats to Lewis. and mentions to drivers like Max, Rossi, Perez, Vettel and at some points Ricciardo.
This race had everything in it.
Kyvaat was pretty good in the opening stages, very fast, but was not able to adapt himself to the slicks. Ricciardo was pretty good up to the point Hulk damaged his car.
Hulk in the past 7 races has put himself out 5 times. I really don't think he is as good as Perez. He makes too much errors in situations that require car control. A good driver in terms of pace and tyre management but not a good racer.

Max is very good. He reminds me of Alonso. Sainz had a good race as well, but wasn't taking the chances like Max was.

the worst drivers today were:

Nico in the last 10 laps, though he was probably the best driver today before that. He really had a lot of pace. But i guess he cracks under pressure easily. The error he made today wasn't so much technical than he was simply on the throttle to early to go much faster. He was on the curb and changing direction, he should have waited a millisecond more before going on the gas. That was what caught him out. Lewis was catching him and he was trying to show lewis a clean pair of heels and just tripped up himself in the end. however i liked his overtakes on the bulls and lewis. He really had the car in a good place but just didnt' have the head to keep things under control like Lewis and Vettel.

Worst thing i saw today:

KIMI RAIKONEN. He made a meal of the whole race and made himself look like a senile old man who forgot to take his medication. Crashing out just made things worst. An embarrassing drive compared to his teammate.
For Sure!!

I feel for him too but he tossed the win away. Just like his cap. He knows he cannot blame anyone else. He got the best strategy too.

I hear people talking about how hamilton was lucky.. I dont really subscribe to luck and who got it and who did bot for this race because all the moves were done on the track. The only person who got a better opportunity than his teammate was Rosberg with that second stop for softs and he did actusly earn it too. he made use of it and then he threw it all away.
