Almost looks like he's going for Nico's frontwing, very dodgy move. Seems like he succeeded. Pulling a Jerez 97 there?
Well if rosberg was infront that would be very similar, but here Hamilton was the guy in front.

Then why didnt he block his wheels? Considering Rosberg knew Hamilton was there.
Because locking wheels stops you less than not-locking wheels.
If you are seriously trying to brake then you'll block your wheels in situations like these. If he didn't that simply means he either chose not to brake more or wss aware of an issue, both aren't arguments for Rosberg to completely miss the apex and not turn in.

If it had been deliberate, he wouldn't have turned. It's Nico's mistake, no doubt about that, but he surely didn't do it on purpose.
Those who have known Nico for long, clearly know he would do it on purpose. That's how messy he is.
You must know him for a long time then. And you must've seen his telemetry as well.

It's just a returning problem for Rosberg, of course he didn't do it on purpose but at deciding moments like this, he makes mistakes.

Depends if you want to deliberately...

...cause a collision where both cars retire
...push the other car off the track and accept that there might be a collision?

I dont think its the first, but the 2nd to me looks quite likely.
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

He didn't turn in, that was the whole problem

Start of the race has to be Pascal Wehrlein, reversing on the grid to find his space before the lights start, being a lap down when the safety car comes out, then to fight back to 10th on a dry track...in a Manor =D>

Difficult to catch just using Youtube now but this is pretty much where Lewis decided to turn in:

He's not in front and he should see Nico coming.

Even if we ignore the whole entry of the corner, then Rosberg still purposely blocked Hamilton's way back on the track. Rosberg was aware that Hamilton was close and he was aware of the damage on his front wing, which means he has no reason to be there on the racing line.

Good spot! I'm still confused why he didn't get penalised for that.

I won't participate in the discussion of the Lewis vs Nico incident ... just some info:

Perez did not have a broken suspension and did not run over Rosberg's debris ... according to Hulk he just ran out of brakes, that's why Hulk retired earlier on as well.

He saw Rosberg coming, which is why he waited to turn in until he was at the outer edge of the corner

Let them have a point and ignore his mistake,
