Vettel's time would have been 1.30.3 /1.30.4 without the mistake at the end of the first flying lap. His final sector was 25.8 compared to his previous best of 24.785.

Ferrari is usually a bit more competitive in the race compared to quali, so they should be able to fight the RBRs tomorrow. Of course Vettel has to clear a bunch of cars first and Silverstone is not the easiest place to do so....

This track exposes their deficiency on the aero/chassis side, they have work to do.
Seems Silverstone is not really a Ferrari track. last year they were slower than Williams. kimi will save the day :-D

I still don't understand why the hard tire sucks so much? Can't they make it so it does not grain? Can some teams use it or is it going to not be used at all in the race?

So he started similar to the first.... from the finish line to turn 1, or half straight

2 questions:
1. How was Lewis starting off the line in Austria, in your opinion ?
2. Is Merc doing their homework now and just put the correct amount of duct tape in order to have the proper air admission on all the brake air ducks? Remember that Rosberg has had issues with the front ones in Monaco ...
