Then every of track excursion that gave an advantage should've been penalised. Which is surely not the case.
one must be VES fanboy to even begin to argue against that 5sec penalty
any driver that has any respect for other drivers out there, would have given the place in the same lap, him not doing it just shows how green he really is, great driver, but personality of a child
In modern F1 rule somewhat states that the driver infront can cut a track atlest once and get a warning about it. Doing it again after the warning is penalised by a 5sec penalty. Hamilton did the same, and was not even atacked by noone since the pack battled against each other. Vettel did a banned Verstappen manouver against Ricciardo who was not responsible for Verstappen behaviour, and the Verstappen behaviour was not an excuse for Vettel to squeeze Ricciardo and possible puncture his front tyre. Maybe FOM should DSQ Verstappen, but they should penalize Vettel and promote Ricciardo to third.
Well, the problem was that Max clearly moved to a defensive line and outbreaked himself. If he would have simply stayed on the racing line and made the fault, then the usual "he was ahead" rule works. But going into the clinch and loosing it clearly needs to give up the position.
Vettel vs Ricciardo will be interesting. We saw it last race with Alonso and this race with Ves vs. Ros, that the stewards allow wheel banging without looking at any rules. Making a precedent for the Vestappen rule would be a bit ridiculous looking at the recent judging, but that would not surprise me. Looks like 50:50 to me at the moment.

Vettel will probably be told to tone it down. I can't even remember one single instance a driver got punished for insulting an other person.
Well, as the FIA has full control about what they transmit as a team radio, there is not much room to blame a driver for team radios, that should not go public.
I do not know if there is anything like an unsportsmanlike rule in F1. Never heard of one.
