Red Bull RB13 TAG Heuer

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

nosetip closed, upping the gamma shows this. (yellow).
there's an interesting opening on the side at the fw pillars (pink)
there's an interesting shape on the side of the nose (orange), think it's guiding the opening for the S-duct internally
there's an s-duct exit, not really exiting but it's there. (green).
i think there's a huge area for the floor in the rear (blue).

s duct looks normal, there's a hump where the 3 is located, probably for the suspension which brings a distorted view.

Looking at this launch pack, I don't think there is even a point in discussion (aero) details. If the stories of the car not being finished even on Thursday are true, coupled with the fact that there is almost no complexity on this car (the sidepod vane is a 2016 design for crying out loud!) than this is definitely not even the most basic version of their 2017 model. My guess is what we've just seen is a cooked up model somewhere late 2016. Let's wait until the real thing goes around the track.

Regarding the nose: it definitely looks like a hole (possibly covered up as design hadn't finished).
