Someone tell Seb that Bahrain isn't Egypt. The Pharaoh dance looks daft in the wrong desert

Impressive result after the beating from qualifying.
Yes. That Ferrari is deadly fast in the hands of Vettel. The Finns is both Mercedes and Ferrari are disappointing. I guess it worked against Mercedes that Bottas got the pole position  It cost them the win IMHO, but hey that's me. Hamilton did nicely after his penalty which was truly unnecessary.
If Hamilton doesn't try to be clever, he would've lost the position to Ricciardo (which happened anyways) and nothing else, terrible decision in hindsight huh.

Hamilton was faster than Vettel today, but he has to suffer Bottas. While Vettel has a slow and deferential team mate that doesn't obstruct him. That made all the difference today.

(Or you could argue Hamilton lost the race with 0.023 seconds)

At least the gap was over 5 seconds. Ferrari were smart today with the undercut; they realised you can overtake the slower cars here and take full advantage of the undercut.
imo it wouldve been easy to get under the 5 sec for Ham...and he had the pace for it....it prob just wouldve made him feel that much worse at the end...

He was? Started in front and finished 7sec behind? Inline your optimism.

Mercedes saying a compressor issue on the grid led to Bottas's tyre pressures being too high in the first stint. Doesn't explain his pace at the end though.

Great drive by Vettel.
Not really impressed with the penalty imposed.

Vettel may like the trophy but he spat the rose water out quite quickly... Good race

Watching today's race, I have to say Pascal Wehrlein is a better racer than Bottas. Why do I feel like that? :wtf:
