High speed long period vof throttle will make it a very difficult race for the honda engines and neither have brought any new replacement s not even at the same spec I would be surprised if they don't start last

Hamilton is usually a beast around this track, no surprises considering his braking abilities.

9 x races
3 x DNFs
1 x 3rd place
5 x 1st places
5 x Pole positions
8 x Front row starts

I wouldn't be surprised if he managed a lights to flag victory.

It wasn't a gearbox problem, it was a hydraulic problem that led to no gear shift and loss of hydraulic steering assist.

Are the hydraulic pumps run off the crankshaft or electrically driven in these cars?

Well at least it was not a engine failure

It's great to hear John Watson co-commentating on BBC Radio. Takes me back to the Eurosport broadcasts of the early 90's.

Great conversations people. Please continue this trend. It's much more aimable. As a reminder, we will act harder on any infringements, which will immediately be met by a formal warning. 2 warnings in a row in the race threads will lead to a short 48h ban.

But I see no reason at the current state to use any of that. Keep it up =D> .

Tyres seems to not be getting warm and grip up and it's all compounds. If it gets any worse I think Roman might burst a blood vessel

Any news on tyre pressures from Pirelli? Will they lower it again after Friday?

It seems like there was heavy graining on the Mercedes front in FP1. Was this only an issue for them and will it affect tyre heat management in the race?
Always find the gap then use it.
