What a wonderful diffuser McLaren has made, and what is that curious little apparatus there in front of the rear wheel? Sensor of some sort?

I'm not sure whether that's a tyre temp sensor or pressure taps, looks more like the latter.
Should be new brake ducts this weekend too.

Perhaps I am jumping the gun but I expected to see the cars with lower df wings for this race

I would guess some sort of strain gauge to measure floor deflection? Looks like there might be one on the lower rear wishbone as well.

McLaren pushing seriously with their developements, from this perspective they are defnitly still a class A Team.

The car seemed stagnant for a few races so it's good to see they're still alive on the development front.
