Some timing, including a news feed and some relevant tweets.

The site seems to support English, Dutch, Danish and Brazilian Portuguese.

@NathanOlder, Ocon was not an F3 rookie if i am correct, he already drove F3 in 2013.

Max may not have wonthe F3 season in 2014, but it was his exceptional driving and overtaking skills that made him 'special'.

Ocon is more like a Prost and Max more like a Senna.. both have great potential as we are currently witnessing.

Lando is coming. Give him 3 years and he will be in a Mclaren
Ps. It took Max only one year to get in F1
Mclaren don't do what Red Bull did. They won't throw Lando in, also if Red Bull didnt have Toro Rosso, Max may not be in F1 even today.

Edit: Ocon was a rookie the year he beat Max. Equal cars both had big backing, Ocon done the business and Lando is performing as good. And I know he didnt have long outside of Karting, but Max has never won a title outside of a Kart.

If he didn't signed with RBR he would have signed by Mercedes, but they wanted him first in GP2 and then a Mercedes powerd car. So I guess he would be in F1 right now.

Also Ocon was driving for a top team and Max wasn't. He also won the most races and if I'm not mistaken he won 3 races per weekend 2 times in a row Spa and the Norsring. And he also had some mechanical issues wich costed him valuable points.

edit:
Sorry for the offtopic! ;)

I'm looking forward for tomorrow to see how Kubica is holding up in these types F1 car. I hope he can be competitive and that we will see him next year on the grid.

So where would he be in F1 ? Mercedes dont rush their drivers in just like Mclaren dont. Wehrlein is an example, if Merc had signed Max, he could well be in F2 right now after a year or 2 in GP3. Im not saying he definitely wouldn't be in F1, im just saying its possible that he wouldn't be.

Well It has been said that If Mercedes picked him up he would be in GP2 in 2015 and then in 2016 in F1 in a Merc powerd car, so you can say Yes he would be in F1 right now.. In his second year...

Why are there 2 Merc's testing ??
Valtteri is testing for Pirelli !!!
Sure he is

I'm not denying your right about the reasons. But are we to believe that Mercedes won't get feedback?

@NathanOlder,

I think that if Max did not take the RBR/TR route- he would be by now driving the 2nd Mercedes due to Rosberg quiting in 2016.

But ofcourse completely irrelevant.

One thing i am also sure of is that Ocon has a bright future in front of him, great driver.

Lando I do not know the guy, so I will look into it.

Ps.
Mclaren did put Hamilton in..

Because he was backed by Mclaren since his karting days and Lewis actually won championships in his last two years prior his F1 debut. Can't recall anyone doing that lately.

Perfect scores will get you a seat in F1.

RED FLAG!
The third red flag of the day is out.
It was all going so well for McLaren-Honda but now Vandoorne has stopped out on track in sector 2.

All is well. Surely an Empty Tank Test to calibrate their Fuel Gauge. They couldn't do it in the Pre Season Tests after all. Now they can stop carrying 10kg of extra Fuel around in Races all the Time just to be sure to make it to the end..... *notsureifsarcasmsignisneeded*

A Toro Rosso caused a red flag just before that, i don't see the big issue here.

Could the people that are arguing "which best driver is the best driver", leave this topic? I thought this was about the test.
+1

Regarding the pirelli test... does anyone know if that was an open offer or an invite specifically to Merc? And are thy allowed to bolt on aero rakes and bits to the car?
