As Bernie often reminded us, There is no bad publicity, just publicity. :D

When does a grid child become a grid girl and therefore no longer eligible? Sorry but you are getting too old now.

One troubling and telling fact about this subject is it is indicative of Liberty's sense of priorities.
With all the troubles of F1 viewership (right term?), I would have thought that changing one of the more pleasant non racing aspects would be dead last to even waste time talking about it, but here it is front and centre (almost)
Pains me to say it but Bring Back Bernie :)

Liberty – oxymoron of the day.

Liberty Media, the questionable “owners” of the commercial side of F1, also own the Atlanta Braves baseball team garnished with cheerleaders ad libertatem.

So what gives? Is this corporate cognitive dissonance: being less of a condition and more of a requirement.

Good to see Mr. Wolff put some much needed pressure on Liberty as well.

When one hears this kind of talk, you can be guaranteed they will be a dud: “alignment on the overall broad goals, but we have to find the right compromises as we work through the details.”

Then Carey used smooch the analyst speak “a tremendous franchise that has not been achieving its potential”.

When you hear this, knowing the case with their baseball team: “we feel this custom does not resonate with our brand values and clearly is at odds with modern day societal norms” the hypocrisy is all too apparent.

This goes to Liberty's honesty and trustworthiness and double standards and, and, and:

“It has emerged that Formula One’s owner, Liberty Media Corp, was questioned by the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) in August last year over fees it receives in connection with broadcasts of the auto racing series in Syria and Sudan”
And
““Sudan and Syria are designated by the Department of State as state sponsors of terrorism, and are subject to U.S. economic sanctions and export controls.” (https://www.forbes.com/sites/csylt/2018 ... 9d36ea2e01)

But that’s OK, apparently.

just one phrase..... (IT CENSORS THE WORDS AT '....POLITICAL CORRECTNESS' WHEN SUBMITTED, SO YOU FILL IN THE BLANKS)
"Compound curvature comprises curves made up of two or more circular arcs of successively shorter or longer radii, joined tangentially without reversal of curvature. The foregoing is illustrated with definitive precision by Helmut Newton’s portrait of perfection above.

The Pirelli calendar is a wonderful institution albeit now somewhat diluted by the dull, ----boring political correctness which pervades our times! It’s nowhere near as risqué as it once was, always tastefully so in my view.

The image is from the 1985 season, originally published in the ’86 calendar and features a young lady whose specifications more than match the 750bhp, twin-turbo, 1.5 litre Renault EF4B V6 powered Ligier JS25. I’m not sure of the driver but the helmet of Andrea De Cesaris is closer to a color match than those of teammates Jacques Laffitte and Philippe Streiff.

In any event the photo is hardly about the car or driver, what compound curvature, arcs of changing radii and perfect purity of line…"

Libertynot seem to have quashed all media discussion re pretty chix, what a bunch of girls  but the tv media seem to be spotting and focusing plenty, how can that be  . Corporate cognitive dissonance.
