Don't know about others but from LCD info on his steering wheel it was visible that at the beginning of his last lap he had very little energy left. 1/6 maybe
Yes, Vettel told that at Eau Rogue he already felt power deficit.F1NAC wrote: ↑Sat Aug 25, 2018 7:39 pmDon't know about others but from LCD info on his steering wheel it was visible that at the beginning of his last lap he had very little energy left. 1/6 maybe
Most people, including me, know and appreciate his wet driving skills. Hamilton is simply the best out there. I know that for myself, but don’t feel the need to tell it on here 100 times. That’s why I’m being hated a bit, I guess.
This sounds plausible. I don’t know to which extend a world class driver like Hamilton decreases his maximum potential, knowing that their is asphalt instead of gravel, but I agree with what you tell. He most probably adjusted his driving.NathanOlder wrote: ↑Sat Aug 25, 2018 6:01 pmWhen im racing in Karts in the wet, i push harder on corners with tarmac run offs as apposed to gravel or grass run offs. Im sure im not the only driver in the world. Just saying
they can change the front wing angle, tyre pressures etc before race, there are other small things which u can adjust in the parc ferme
So he lost "only" 4 tenths in S2 while enjoying better track conditions than Hamilton had. Not that impressed by that particular tidbit.
Hamilton doesn't need to be a Ferrari driver to be appreciated. He has driven an entire career at an incredible level. Formula 1 fans have a habit of being drowned in nostalgia and putting down current drivers. Once Hamilton and Vettel retire, we're going to appreciate what we're watching at the moment. It is the stuff of legends!
yep, same as everyone else who progressed into Q2
Man, that IS hairy af. He's lucky he had a slide before going into eau rogue as he was turning in. Otherwise he could've found himself completely out of control and slamming into the barriers on the left while going thru the left - right transition past ea rogue. Actual he almost did slam, he was right on the cusp of loss of control for a good while - but well held in the end !Juzh wrote: ↑Sat Aug 25, 2018 5:30 pmgotta love this save by perez on slicks in q3
