Haas VF-18 Ferrari

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Does anybody have an image of the illegal part they got disqualified for? Was it just on grosjeans car, or has it been on Magnussens car as well?

"Pulling the attachment right to the region where the 50mm radius is supposed to be put it in a grey area.

The rules are clear that the 50mm radius must be seen when viewed from below: but having the bargeboard attached further forward moved it into a location where it could be interpreted that the 50mm radius was no longer visible."

Seems like a politically motivated and terrible decision from crying Renault, because the Haas design was in a grey area according to this article. In any case this belongs in the team thread.

It sure is an everything and the kitchen sink approach.

Haas deserves to be best of the rest, they did a good job with their chassis.

true, but one has to consider the fact that half of it is essentially the SF-70H
