It would but Sauber and Haas would be under strict orders and probably ruin the show.
FI and Williams on the same. Perez did his best last race.
Perez was doing 100% what he was meant to be doing at that point. Fight anyone who doesn't drive a pink car.

The problem is when a Ferrari approaches a Haas or Sauber, they get out the way pretty damn quick. Force India and Williams still resist a Mercedes. Vettel pretty much has 5 team mates, to Hamilton's 1. So thats what would wreck a battle from the back between Lewis and Seb.
what on earth are you talking about?

Monaco? Ocon just casually slows down(not being lapped even!!) to let Hamilton through? Magnussen getting into the way of Kimi in Hockenheim resulting in Kimi losing position to Bottas.

Grosjean ruining Kimi's lap in Hungary etc....

Your comments are sometimes a complete joke.

Vettel, again, has only one set of softs. What the...?
Lately Ferrari is going too aggressive with tyre choices. Japan will be another example, and so far is not working. It looks like a desperate move for me.

well that choice was made 14 weeks ago. THey are probably relying on Vettel taking pole and then driving into distance (6,7 seconds ) like it was the case this season

yes i meant track should suit ferrari. pace this weekend will be interesting. since summer break true pace of each time has been hard to definitively determine. both merc and ferrari have strengths and come to the fore more at different tracks, i dont really think ferrari had much of a pace advantage that people made out., i think they were very evenly matched. we dont know vettels true pace at monza or in singapore in the race for various reasons.

The Ocon moment was debunked right here

As for Magnussen, in Hockenheim, really ? in the damp conditions on slicks, in a 4 or 5 car battle =D>
At that point all the drivers were just trying to keep it pointing forward, it was only 2 or 3 seconds after that incident that Mag had a force india spinning in front of him as the conditions were that tricky! The last thing he was going to do was watch the cars behind him!

Grosjean in Hungary I dont recall, I assume you are talking about Qualifying ? Please remind me.

The fact remains that Haas and Sauber are in tighter/stronger relationships with their engine suppliers that Williams and Force India are.

So you are telling me that Force India and Williams help Mercedes on track ?
Sauber and Haas fight Ferrari like other teams do ?

Yeah ?

Or maybe you are just joking ? either way theres no need to start insulting is there.

Force India have shown that they will obey orders from the top. As for Sauber and Haas they didn't show on track that this tighter so call relationship means letting through Ferraris as soon as they pop in the mirrors

When Hamilton wins his 5th title, he'll have the FI and Williams drivers to thank then.

Red Bull expects to finish P5 and P6 in Sochi.

Wait, this just in. Red Bull will be replacing both engines. Both cars will start from the back. This now means that Red Bull expects to finish ... P5 and P6.

It certainly is a weird season when P5/P6 is the expected result, no matter how they qualify.

let's see Autosport, vs a lesser website using quotes that give absolutely no context..........

I'll side with Autosport, and I don't even like them!

Lets not kid ourselves, the other teams that use the works engine move out of the way for works drivers as fast as they can, heck, even other marque drivers move out of the way most of the time (even when “fighting” for position).
