Red Bull RB15

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

It now has a concave curvature just below the sidepod wing. Before it had a convex curvature all around.
I think your mistaken. The first shot is so much further out then the second shot. The second shot is just showing the tightness the body has had all year. It might also help if you can actually mark on the picture where you think something has changed.

Not entirely sure but I'd say that's a new engine cover that looks a lot tighter around the rear.

Max and Pierre started the weekend in Spain with different engine covers. The left is new spec en right is old spec. You can see a difference in the positioning of the red stripe with respect to the inner edge of the cover. The red stripe of the new spec has also a sharper bend near inlet:

Closed nose again. Why would they revert to that?

It looks like they’ve changed the front wing end plate a bit too, is now declines gradually toward the back of the end plate.

It seems to me that the Monaco spec has a more gradual decline towards the back compared to the more abrupt decline in Barcelona but that's probably due to the angle of the picture.
