Bandwagon bonfire

Post

A thread to address the issue of excessive driver affiliation. To vent the over boosted fan drivel and compressed thought of the race threads, which threaten to rupture and damage surrounding forums. A wastegate valve, if you will.

The ones we should really call GOATs are the design guys instead of the pilots

Unfortunately this is an unpopular opinion on this purportedly technical forum. Never mention such things in a race thread. Every benchracing bootlicking bandwagoneer seems set to squawk sequentially.

How about:
  • No commenting in race threads from accounts with less than X upvotes.
  • Allow X personal comments per race thread, where X denotes your upvote number.

I think it's always best to ignore the race threads, but I think site wide per day posting limits are a good idea. X posts per day (where X is your upvote number).

And in threads with hundreds of pages, you must pass an exam demonstrating you have read the previous pages before you can post

well... we could start with a karting forum, maybe a season on the F3 subsection and when you have enough karma points, go straight to the F1 section or do some commenting on the F2 and WEC posts to get your superforumlicence.

For the older members we could do a prequalifying on the Thursday before a grand prix, to get enough points to join the racing threat.

True GOATs don’t need the help of superior material to win.

Tom Brady, Usain Bolt are true GOATs.
