Yup, quick call, 1mil off engines next year if you kill the engine. One of those unknowable things, unless of course Hamilton doesn't get out at all, if they have extra time they'll use it so if they only get out with 2 minutes to go and get a lap in we can't easily say that they wouldn't have gotten out without the extra time. Without the delay they may have rushed and gotten it out. Just to be clear not seriously saying that they blew the engine, just saying won't know if he'd have gotten out without the delay.
Chill, it was a joke

Read the last line again, I literally added it to be clear. The rest of the comment is just talking about if he'd gotten out or not.
Yeah my bad lol. Just have to be clear here cause then the ham lovers come in full attack mode

Lewis went out at at 3:15pm so would have had enough time for one flying lap ... the red flag made no difference

Crofty being as stupid as usual, he thinks Merc going out again in case they are too close to the cut off. Well over a second clear. They need help with setup and running time and engine testing so of course they are going out again.

Verstappen, yeah, not just a harvesting issue because when he came out of that corner it wasnt' slower acceleration it was zero acceleration out of corners, though also not slowing down. So seems more like a software issue where the engine isn't running out of power but it's not recognising the call for acceleration.

Albon getting in Max head? Max seems to be finding gremlings all over the car.
Leclerc is amazing. consistently 6 tenths faster than Vettel, rock smashingly so, but lets see if vettel has the last laugh with setup for the long runs.
For Sure!!

Now a Ferrari new spec engine problem. The difference being that the works team haven’t taken it yet, and have until next week to decide whether to do so.

Prediction: Seb will be with him by the end. The big gaps so far have usually come when Seb made a mistake and I think Charles was really pushing in Q1.

Given how Ferrari are now completely destroying Mercedes at Spa, I guess they won't even need that new engine for Monza lol

Qualifying is qualifying, race pace has little bearing on it. No point being 1 second faster in qualifying, it's as useful as being 5 seconds faster if you're still 0.5-1 second slower in race.

I suspect tomorrow that Ferrari's only real shot is being 1-2 by the end of the long straight and then being able to use the second car to create a gap to whoever is leading. If not then frankly the other teams can pit earlier because they can go longer and better in the final stint while if Ferrari go early they'll suffer on tire wear and the other teams will just go long as in Austria and pit later then have a significant tire advantage for half the race.

I think Ferrari should easily, really easily get 1-2 in qualifying but in the race, not so much.

If a new engine brings them 3/10ths in race pace then it could be the difference between winning or not winning in Monza.

cars are slow AF. I'm starting to think pirelli with its absurd tire pressure limits is a major contributing factor.

No the drivers just aren't that good. In all seriousness I see big mistakes for turns 8 & 9 and again in 11, those turns alone can bring a good .3 For 11 they're braking too late, it's a pure momentum corner, perhaps limit MGU-H deployment after 10. In fact 7-11 gives the best opportunity to get some good regen for the 3rd sector.
