Leclerc was totally fine with it. They will know what pace they are capable off. On this track, Ferrari will likely be able to keep the pace up. Lets see tomorrow.

I don't know about that, their race pace on Friday was not good compared to Mercedes, and if it is indeed cool tomorrow they could have issues getting their tires into the proper operating window.

I have a bad feeling about that F2 crash. More specifically, Anthione Hubert. Hoping everyone will be okay.

Thanks for that onboard. Just brilliant as usual! The Ferrari speeds were ridiculous in the straight bits. Damn! And the difference is still only 0.15?!? It can't just be the motor. It's gotta be the aero as well.

Horrible crash

Jesus, these cars are somewhat designed to take front and rear impacts and barriers and tires work together to spread load and crumple (the suspension) to absorb the impact. Smashing the tires/suspension in the barriers then getting straight t-boned at full speed is something these cars aren't designed to take well.

That would be nasty just hitting the barrier... the t-bone. I felt it right in my gut as I saw it happen. Correa was moving after while his car was upside down but his feet were clearly showing, though moving a bit, but the front end straight up broke off. Conscious is good in some ways, probably not major head damage for Correa, but his legs could have been badly hurt.

Hubert, I really genuinely fear for his life. That's one of the most horrific crashes I've seen.

What happened:

Alesi clipped the curb of Raidillon, lost traction, tried to correct, and was out of control from then on, rolling into the path of the following drivers.

Boschung and King avoided Alesi, Hubert had no such luck, went right and smashed into the barriers.

Hubert's car then rolled back toward the track, and Correa hit his monocoque at somewhere between 45 and 90 degrees at full racing speed.

The crash ripped open Hubert's monocoque, and completely obliterated the front third of Correa's car; to the extent that Correa's feet are hanging out of his car.

I sincerely hope both drivers will be okay. [-o<

While hoping for the best outcome here regarding the F2 crash, it would be best if users can post links to the info instead of direct pictures, as some people are more sensitive to this type of images. With a link everyone has a choice. Which by the way, is what is posted in the last page, links instead of pictures.
Thank you everyone.
