Jalopnik.com, not the best source if you’re looking for something reliable, even if it’s only a rumour. They’re more (wild) speculation and (wild) fantasy, same category as judge13. But then again, you never know.
Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

It is quite possible. Merc sells the team to Wollf&Stroll while they keep the engine plant. They wont give the works deal to McLaren or Aston Martin. If this were to be true McLaren would be in a bit of a disadvantage because Wollf is such a integral part of Mercedes..anyhow well see

According to other reports,
World champions Mercedes are not preparing to pull out of Formula 1, according to Daimler chief executive Ola Kaellenius.

Various websites reported that whether Mercedes should leave the sport as a constructor would be discussed at the next board meeting of parent body Daimler.

“Not true,” Kaellenius said.

Is not “other” reports... The only facts that we have is Ola saying that they are not exiting the sport... The rest is speculation and rumors at this point.

Websites need to get traffic during the slow winter months... This is one way to do it.

https://www.bbc.com/news/business-51323241 It's official. I believe McLaren has a contract with Merc so nothing is changed. We will see about Merc future in F1 in the upcoming years.

It doesn’t mean anything. Aston Martin is a struggling company, and this is the rescue deal.

Mercedes is not struggling, and with the looming budget cap they will most likely make a profit from their F1 venture, Or at the least a small loss for a huge amount of advertising

I see zero reason why Mercedes would quit F1

As long as Mercedes is in F1 as a team, there will be no Mclaren - Mercedes works deal... And there is no timeframe for Mercedes to leave the sport.

So no, there won’t be a Mclaren Mercedes works deal in the near future.

Exactly. Financial Times just reported that Mercedes signed Ineos for 20 million pounds, which means their team can almost run in their current form without Daimler support. There is no way that they will leave. Wolff already said that they aren't interested in being a supplier.

Not at the moment because they've probably massively increased the spending for new regulations but in 2021 they could be making profits with current finances given the engine freeze & budget cap.

McLaren team kit preview; has that repeating lines design cue we previously saw from the neon numbers. Seems likely we'll be getting more black on the car, looks great with that blue.

Mercedes still finding gains on the PU side! Most of us were thinking that they would plateau. Looks good for McLaren in 2021.
