If i m right i didn't see someone mentioning this little tweak :
he talks about it at 2.20 min, we can see it too at 2.00.

This kind of little details which make you proud of the guys, hard workers. =D>

I’m pretty sure what he is referring to is the feeder for the S-duct, the small slits on the nose at to small and are probably for driver cooling

Looks like they have beefed up the upper wishbone and made the lower one smaller this year, the reverse of last year. I assume trying to get cleaner air lower down running along the barge-boards and top of the floor.

It's a unique set up, the rack is midway between the top and bottom wishbones, but placed rearwards, nearer the front axle line than the front bulkhead. The track rod then reaches backwards to pivot on the upright behind the front axle line. It even passes behind the pushrod.
Easier to create an Ackerman setup, to turn the inner wheel and lower its ride height via the POU geometry

Hmmm. Don’t quite grasp it. I have seen Williams is the only team still putting a steering rod in mid airflow, which seems less efficient to me. I thougt all other teams place the rod in front of the lower or higer wishbone, and integrade the teardrop shape as both rods being one teardrop shape. But with the RB16 I can’t see any separate steering piece. I hope my English is suffient to get what I mean.
But just suppose it weren't hypothetical.

tie rod is outside but not visible on earlier photos...it has been corrected. the tie rod ironically is on the aft position which is quite radical when comparing to the other cars and last years RB15. suspect this is done to move the tie rod closer to the bargeboards and influence aerodynamically as the tie rods is pretty much shaped like an aero element that is at an angle rather than some of the other cars that have their tie rod merely more streamlined instead

the tie rods are visible behind the push rods and those push rods are normally designed from an engineering perpective to the center line of the where the front wheel torque is

So did they design it to more precisely control front ride height during the toe curve? Also interesting is the shape of the track rod.
